Attendees to MLK Retreat 2008 will find all registration information on this page.  The retreat begins on Saturday, January 19, at 9:00AM at the Ventura Marriott with a full day conference.  The retreat will explore some of the works of Dr. King.  There will be plenty of opportunities to meet and share with others, whether at the conference or by the Pacific surf.  Sunday, a creative worship is planned along with the chance to visit local Ventura attractions.  The retreat concludes on Monday morning, January 21.

Attendees are responsible for all their travel arrangements and hotel accomodations.

 

Retreat planners have arranged for room blocks at Marriott Ventura Beach.  The hotel offers a discounted rate of $115/night to retreat attendees.  This special rate is only available until Monday, January 14, 2008.  After that date, it's the regular hotel rate.  Remember to identify yourself as part of the In His Shoes group when making your reservation.  Room blocks are subject to availability, and therefore are not guaranteed.  So, please book early!  Also, we encourage you pair up with 4 people to a room and split the cost.
